IAAA Activity
International Aerial Athletics Association (IAAA) develops and promotes Aerial Athletics as a global discipline. Guided by the principles of excellence, integrity, and inclusivity, the Association works to advance this emerging sport in harmony with the values of the Olympic Movement.
IAAA coordinates the international development of Aerial Athletics by defining competition standards, promoting fair and transparent judging, and supporting the creation of national federations and organization of international events. It works to create a unified global structure for the sport, ensuring consistency, integrity, and equal opportunities for athletes across all levels of participation.
A key part of the Association’s work is educational and cultural initiatives. The Association promotes the global exchange of knowledge and cultural dialogue through educational and training programs, collaborative projects, and international events that encourage continuous learning, creativity, and the sharing of best practices within the Aerial Athletics community.
IAAA also prioritizes the engagement of youth and the wider community. It promotes participation at all levels, supports equal opportunities, and inspires young athletes to build confidence, discipline, and creativity through sport.
Health, safety, and wellbeing are central to the Association’s mission. IAAA sets standards for safe practice, works to prevent injury, and encourages awareness of physical and mental health in the training process. Committed to sustainability and social responsibility, the Association encourages environmentally conscious practices, ethical governance, and the use of sport as a force for positive social change.
Through these activities, IAAA strives to shape Aerial Athletics as the sport of the future — one that transcends gravity, celebrates human potential, and embodies the harmony between strength, intelligence, and creativity.

Dear athletes, coaches, judges, partners and friends of Aerial Athletics,
It is an honor to welcome you to the official platform of International Aerial Athletics Association. Our mission is clear: to unite the global aerial community, elevate standards, and build a sport that reflects human strength, creativity, harmony and limitless potential.
Aerial Athletics is evolving faster than ever before. What began as a niche artistic practice has grown into a powerful and inspiring movement embraced by athletes in every corner of the world. Today, our goal is to transform this movement into a fully recognized, structured and internationally accessible sport — with clear rules, fair judging, education pathways, athlete opportunities and global competitions.
As CEO, my role is to help create conditions in which every athlete, regardless of country or background, can have a pathway to the international stage. Through the development of unified regulations, technical standards, safety frameworks and ranking systems, we are working to build a clear and reliable structure for the future of our sport.
The heart of Aerial Athletics is community. This association exists thanks to the athletes who train every day, the coaches who support and develop them, the judges who uphold fairness, the studios and federations that build the sport locally, and everyone who believes in the power and beauty of flight.
Together, we are creating something historic. A new era. A global sport without borders. A space where talent meets opportunity.
I invite you to join us on this journey — as athletes, partners, leaders or ambassadors. Your voice and your passion matter. Together, we will shape the future of Aerial Athletics and build a community that inspires the world.
With respect and dedication, CEO Jurijs Pilipcuks
