One World Ranking
ATHLETE EVOLUTION & RANKING SYSTEM
ATHLETE EVOLUTION
This is not just performance.
This is the instrument of strength and control.
Each season represents a new level of physical evolution:
Season 1 — Activation
Season 2 — Strength
Season 3 — Control
Season 4 — Perfection
From awareness → to power → to mastery → to absolute precision.
Global ranking system
This is not just a competition.
This is a structured global progression.
Across all four seasons, athletes accumulate results that shape their international standing.
Ranking Total = Sum of Best 2 Results in Last 12 Months
Your performance is not momentary, it defines your position in the global Aerial Athletics system.
IAAA WORLD RANKING SYSTEM
The IAAA World Ranking is designed to reflect consistent performance, competitive strength, and technical quality.

It is not based on a single result.
It is built through an athlete’s performance across official IAAA Offline Competitions and IAAA Online Seasons.
HOW THE RANKING WORKS
IAAA World Ranking = Best 2 Results of Online Competitions + Best 1 Result of Offline Competitions

Ranking Rules

  • 4 IAAA Online Competition Seasons per year
  • Official IAAA Offline Competitions may also contribute ranking points
  • Only the 2 best eligible results of Online Cup within the last 12 months are counted
  • Maximum 1 Offline Competition result may be included in an athlete’s final ranking
  • Results expire after 12 months

This means an athlete may build their ranking through different competition formats while maintaining a consistent and comparable scoring system.
RANKING STRUCTURE
Each athlete is ranked separately by:

Discipline

  • Aerial Silks
  • Aerial Hoop
  • Aerial Straps

Age Group

  • Junior
  • Youth
  • Senior

Category

  • Sport
  • Artistic Performance
  • Amateur
HOW POINTS ARE CALCULATED
The same scoring system is applied to both official IAAA Online Competitions and official IAAA Offline Competitions.
The ranking uses a hybrid scoring model:

Ranking Points = Place Points + Score Bonus

Place Points
  • Winner — 1000
  • Finalist — 800
  • 3rd Place — 650
  • 4th — 550
  • 5th — 480
  • 6th — 430
  • 7th — 390
  • 8th — 350
  • Qualified Participation — 250
Score Bonus
Each performance receives an individual judging score, which is added to the place points.

Example:
Winner with score 92 → 1000 + 92 = 1092 points
Finalist with score 89 → 800 + 89 = 889 points
This ensures that performance quality directly impacts the ranking, not only final placement.
OFFLINE COMPETITION RESULTS

Only results from official IAAA Offline Competitions are eligible for inclusion in the IAAA World Ranking.
Offline competition results are calculated using the same Place Points and Score Bonus system as IAAA Online Competitions.

Offline Result Limitation
An athlete may have multiple official IAAA Offline Competition results during the 12-month ranking period, but only the single best Offline Competition result may be included in the final ranking.

Example
  • Online Season 1 — 1092
  • Online Season 2 — 980
  • Online Season 3 — 920
  • Online Season 4 — 830
  • Offline Competition 1 — 1050
  • Offline Competition 2 — 980
  • Offline Competition 3 — 1170
  • Offline Competition 4 — 850
Ranking Score:  1092 Online + 980 Online + 1170 Offline = 3242
FINAL RANKING FORMULA

Ranking Total = Best 2 Eligible Results of Online Competitions + Best 1 Eligible Result of Offline Competitions

COMPETITION STRENGTH FACTOR

Points are adjusted based on the number of participants in a category:

  • 3–4 athletes — ×0.75
  • 5–7 athletes — ×0.90
  • 8–14 athletes — ×1.00
  • 15+ athletes — ×1.10

This ensures that the ranking reflects not only an athlete’s result, but also the competitive depth of the event.

WHAT THIS MEANS

The IAAA World Ranking rewards:
  • consistency across IAAA competition seasons
  • performance at official IAAA Offline Competitions
  • technical excellence
  • competitive participation
